About Us

My wife and I started lakemapper.com in October of 2005 after renting a small cabin on Black Hawk Lake earlier that summer.
We wanted an up to date aerial photo map of Black Hawk Lake that would look nice on one of our cabin walls. Since then my wife
and I continue to spend our free time in the summer at our cabin on the lake.

In 2006 we expanded from creating maps for Black Hawk Lake to creating lake maps for over 17 different lakes in Iowa. In 2007 we
created lakemapper.com to showcase all of the maps we make available. We also offer our map prints in a select few framing shops
near Iowa's lakes.

We have now sold over 250 lake maps and enjoy our hobby business. We appreciate your interest in lakemapper.com, and are excited
